Use AI to draft product data, with a human review
Keep source facts, language suggestions and approval separate when preparing AI-assisted product descriptions.
AI can help reorganise product information and suggest clearer wording. It should not decide an unknown material grade, invent a certification or turn an estimate into a promise. A useful workflow begins with trusted inputs and ends with a person checking what will be saved and published.
Start with facts you can trace
Gather the product reference, approved specifications and existing descriptions. Mark values that are missing or awaiting confirmation. Supply only information you are authorised to share with the configured provider. More text is not automatically better: contradictory inputs can produce a polished but unreliable description.
Review technical claims before style
Check every material, dimension, unit, application and commercial term against the source. Look for added superlatives, implied compatibility or claims that a product meets a standard. Remove unsupported statements. If the source is incomplete, keep the description incomplete until someone supplies the missing fact.
Check translations as product information
A translation should preserve the meaning of the technical source. Keep model references and units consistent, and verify specialist terms with someone who understands the product. Separate content quality from AI visibility
A clear description is useful to a buyer even without a visibility scan. A scan records answers to sourcing questions from a model at a particular moment; it is not a prediction of future recommendations.
